Close your eyes. No really, just for a moment…  

Now, picture this:

Small town girl meets smaller town boy in little bitty (cheese-lovin’) midwest college town.  They fall in love.  

One drags both to follow dreams of planning big cities to the big city; the other promptly double backs home to snap up an MBA.  Now educated (several times over), lovebirds strike out west to start from scratch.  A new business.  Enamored with the idea of creating something new, they form a friend- and partnership with two like-minded, design-lovin’ ladies to learn as they go. Huddled over laptops, at times it seems they tap-tap-tap their idea to fruition for simple self-enjoyment.  But what started as 4 believers, now boasts thousands of converts.  All affirming what that small town girl and boy dreamed can come true.

Now open your eyes.  It’s still happening!  And we’re not the only ones noticing.  It seems Red Clay’s been popping up on a few radars lately, and we’re tickled they’ve found our little experiment worth chirping about.

TODAY, Red Clay is Paper ‘n’ Stitch’s featured Shop of the Day.  Highlighted amongst our peers is the greatest compliment!

A leading influencer in responsible design and thoughtful living and the well-known extention of  Apartment Therapy Re-Nest has taken us under their wing.  Red Clay’s TWISTING Design was amongst Re-Nest’s best eco-bets for a stellar 4th of July Party.  It’s not too late to join in the festivities… I know I plan to host a few more BBQs before summer’s end!

And that small town boy and girl I was telling you about?  Well, they’re all grown up and living the dream in Arkansas, (for now).  Did I mention they are our very own fearless leader and marketing master, Abby and Kurt?  Check out Red Clay’s spotlight on Innovate Arkansas!
